Easy High Desert Macaroni Salad
You can’t go wrong with this super easy high desert macaroni salad. This is my go to when I need something quick and easy.
You can probably tell that I’m not a fancy food photographer. But let me tell you this tastes amazing.
If you like savory not sweet well this is the one for you. It just goes so well with anything off the grill.
Ready in 20 minutes
Serves 6 people
Ingredients
- 1 tsp coarse black pepper
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tsp yellow mustard
- 1 hard boiled egg peeled and chopped
- 1/2 yellow onion diced
- 1/4/cup dill pickle relish
- 1/4 cup canned black olives (cut into halves or quarters)
- 1/2 can chunk light tuna drained well (optional)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 8 oz Ditalini pasta or (pasta of choice)
Preparation
- Cook pasta according to package instructions.
- Once the pasta is cooked. Let drain and cool in a colander Approx. 30 minutes.
- Once the pasta is drained and cooled, Place in a large bowl.
- Ad other ingredients to the bowl. Except salt pepper and paprika.
- Stir the macaroni salad using a large spoon until all ingredients are mixed well.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Cover the macaroni salad and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Tips for Easy High Desert Macaroni Salad
